Are flowers too girly? This guy I know is 17 and I wasn't sure what he would think of flowers. Are there manly flowers out there, or is there a better gift for male actors?
What is a good gift to give an actor for being in a play?
Flowers are probably best, although taking a guy out to dinner for a celebration is a surefire way to make him happy. Every guy likes to eat. Especially when someone else is picking up the tab.
Reply:Anything you would give a girly guy
wrap it on pink too
Reply:Give him flowers, it is customary.... then celebrate with dinner at the close of the show (that is if there is more than one show).
Reply:Just take him out for dinner after the show! That's why I do for my guy friends!
Reply:definatley flower even if it is a guy flowers are a classic gift for actors!!!
Reply:Flowers are traditional, to be presented after the curtain call, most commonly on opening night. Make sure the flowers are in a bouquet or a display, and not along the lines of a flower you wear, because wearing live flowers onstage is taboo and you want him to be able to appreciate your gift.
Reply:jewerly 4 girls
flowers for anyone
Reply:I'm an actress, and I think its really cool when someone gives you a gift that pertains to the play you were in. For example...if he was the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, you could give him a heart charm on a necklace. I know an actor whose parents got him a new charm everytime he was in a play.
Reply:No I always give my guy friends Roses :)
It's a typical play thing.
But you could make a scrapbook of their play the day after, maybe take pictures and then take the film directly to a one hour photo and create it over night.
