Has real romance died and been replaced by basing a relationship on who's the baddest or whatever?

When I was young we bought flowers or other small gifts for our loved ones. We held hands and talked (and not about sex either) Sex was important but sometimes today it seems like it's the only thing.

When you connect with and experience your own feelings while, at the same time, taking in the feelings of the one you love, you are walking straight into the open heartspace of real romance, into the special connections you make with one another, whether small and subtle or grand and brilliant.

Yes holding hands, gentle hugs, malts at the ice cream shop, flowers, walks on the beach, trips to the zoo and then maybe sex if all the vibes were there and you felt the ultimate connection.

Nice question, Michael!

Reply:I'm setting out to find a REAL Man. One who knows what real love is about! I'm tired of playing with little boys who think they are God's gift to women. (I think a really good man friend on here pointed that very fact out to me recently)--(thank you for that my good friend-you know whom I am referring to :o)

It is time to change from little boys to grown men who do know how to treat women right just like you are talking about..some good old fashioned romance, hand holding and love not just "fluff talk" that is meaningless.
Reply:I try to keep the romance alive. I cater to my man and try to make him happy. Yes sex is important but ur right it shouldn't be the only thing and with us it isn't.
