Is a new cellphone a good Valentines day gift for a girlfriend?

I have been with my girlfriend for 7 years and she absolutely hates Flowers and Candy and the usual romantic stuff on Valentines day. I was wondering if a new Cell phone would be a good gift? She kinda needs one.
