My son is having a recital. What woould be a good gift to present him with after the performance?

You know how little girls get a bouqut of flowers? I would like to have something for him like that, but flowers won't do it.

How about a jumbo Symphony candy bar? Or on the other end of the expense spectrum, an ipod (if he doens't have one)? If you have time--getting them engraved from Apple online is really great. Or if he already has an ipod, maybe an itunes gift card.



Depending on what instrument he plays, you could get him a recording of someone spectular playing that instrument....
Reply:When i was a junior in high school, we had to give the seniors in drama club gifts, and I was in charge of it. I am pretty creative, so i made plaques with their names on it, a CD painted gold, and a few other details, like the name of the show and the character they played. It looked kind of like the type of plaque recording artists receive when their album goes gold or platinum.

Reply:depends on the age... if he is young, a video game or cd might work. If he is older, maybe a gift card or dinner.
