What is a good gift for my daughters daycare teacher?

I gave them some flowers today and I would like to do soemthing for them every other friday.Do ya'll have any ideas? Thanks.

What is a good gift for my daughters daycare teacher?
I actually work in a daycare and things I know the girls I work with would love would be like cookie trays and deserts. Not to fancy but something we can munch on. Fresh Fruit is another good idea for as it gets warmer. Breakfast is another nice idea. Get a few bagels and muffins Oj and milk and make a breakfast basket. Food is always a great gift after we work all week! :) Hope I could help!
Reply:How thoughtful of you! As a preschool teacher, I can tell you that we appreciate gifts from the heart most of all. The flowers were perfect! Maybe you can have your child dictate little notes that your write down (or if your child can copy notes have him or her write it). Have your child write something they like about their teacher. Maybe even decorate the note. Send it with a flower your child picks from your garden.

I've had parents who brought me some coffee from a coffee shop. So maybe think in that direction. Find out the teacher's favorite drink (coffee, tea, a smoothie). Maybe send it with a muffin.

Gift cards are always appreciated! I love the ones from bookstores.

Donate some new children's books to the daycare. See if they are planning to study a certain topic and get a book on that topic.

Offer the gift of your time. Maybe you can run a school errand for them or cut out some paper. It's so helpful having a parent help with some of these little things!

Hope this helps!
Reply:Every other Friday is a bit often just for a casual gift for a daycare supervisor...but when we did gifts for teachers (at the end of each marking period and Christmas) we did personalized post-it notes (my dad wrote a computer program that allowed us to put pictures and images on sheets of printed-out post-its).
Reply:Daycare teachers work hard for little pay so little gift cards area always appreciated...like even $5 to Panera Bread would mean they could get a coffee and pastry one night after work....
Reply:something in-expensive, probably have your child pic it out since he/she will most likely be giveing it to them
Reply:motrin
