My girlfriend lives with 4 other girls, 2 of which are single, and one of which has been sort of down about the whole Valentine's day thing. I want to do something to brighten her mood (which would make everyone happier as a result) I was thinking that since you can get your mom something for valentine's day you should also be able to get your non-girlfriend girl-friends something as well (we all hang out often). I was thinking that in addition to the flowers for my gf, I would get one yellow rose for each of her room mates... "because valentines day is about celebrating the women in your life" I'll say. After all, yellow is supposed to be for friendship.
I'm not worried about my gf, we trust each other immensely and I am sure that she wouldn't get suspicious of my intentions. I worry that the room-mates will see it as a pity gift, and not a happy valentines day gift. What do you think?
Would it be inappropriate to give my gf's room mates flowers for V-day?
I agree, run it by the g/f she probably won't care but will appreciate you mentioned it
I don't think the roomies will see it as you pitying them..
Reply:Getting everybody happy is the purpose of valentines day.
Reply:Id do it. A dozen red for your girl and a single yellow rose for each of them. It'll show them that someone cares.
Reply:Talk to your gf first I am sure she will approve and then that way you have permission. Do not set something off that you will regret later. Sounds like a real nice idea to me!
Reply:Run it by your girlfriend first..Maybe get a house bouquet for everyone, and a little something special for just your gf..
Reply:That is so sweeeeet! How about one for me too? :)
Reply:yea def run it by girl friend and do what that guy said like one yellow rose for the other girls
